I moved here from Sussex last year and whilst I am continuing to offer Mindfulness on zoom to past participants, I am now looking forward to meeting individuals in this community, and to share my experiences and understandings.
I trained with Bangor University and Sussex Mindfulness Centre learning the most well-known courses…Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, which are based on ancient traditions and neuroscience.
I started my meditation practice in 2006, and bring mindfulness into living as best I can.
Do you have questions about what it is, what it is not, what Mindfulness offers?
Would you like to experience some short meditation practices?
in sitting, in stillness and then with some gentle movements or maybe walking.
(whatever we do, you have a choice to join in or not)
Or maybe you already have some experience:
Are you looking for a place to continue or return to practice?
or are you a seasoned practitioner who wants to meet fellow travellers?
Please come along to one, or both of these two free taster sessions at Bishopswood Village Hall
Tuesday 9 August 2022 . 11.00 – 12.00
Tuesday 16 August 2022 14.30 – 15.30
As an introduction to me as a facilitator, an opportunity to be guided in a few short practices, these short workshops will be informal and will allow you to decide whether you would like to participate in future classes.
And if these times are not convenient for you, please get in touch to express your interest.
I am keen to learn what your views are, and what works for you.
It would be really helpful, If you could let me know of your intention to come, please do so by calling 07399620833, or texting on this number or e-mailing rosemarie@metame.co.uk
But if on the day, you decide you want to come, feel free to pitch up.
Mindfulness receives quite a lot of media coverage.
There are many myths, high expectations as well as negative results reported which lead to misconceptions, misunderstandings
