Road Closure

Road Closed

An emergency road closure has been put in place on the B4234 between Kerne Bridge and Walford Timber due to the existing rock slope showing signs of on-going degradation. Balfour Beatty said a full road closure has been put in place to prevent risk to the public. An exact timescale for the closure can not be given, but at the moment it is estimated to be approximately 10 days.

Letter From Balfour Beatty to residents.

This is in addition to the planned overnight closures of this road for resurfacing works.

Access to Bishopswood Village Hall can be achieved via Kerne Bridge or Leys Hill.
