Class Description:-
☀Monday☀
🙋Pilates Posture Project
🕰9.30 – 10.15am
🏫Armoury Hall, Newnham
👟Equipment – Mat, light resistance band, activation band, 1pair stimulating prickle balls, hand towel for folding up to support the body (just bring what you have, don’t buy anything just yet)
🖋Description – The Project is aimed at anyone who is a professional sitter or stander with poor posture, and who knows they need to strengthen their core muscles. This class will help make you aware of the adjustments you need to make to improve your back, core and posture. This class can be used as the ‘homework’ between physiotherapy appointments. The exercises will focus on mobility and strength, which will help you become niggle/pain reduced or even free.
☀Monday
🙋Pilates Balance & Stretch
🕰10.30 – 11.30am
🏫Armoury Hall, Newnham
👟Equipment – Mat, pole/broom handle, activation band, stimulating prickle balls, 2 yoga blocks(thick books) and hand towel for folding up to support the body (just bring what you have, don’t buy anything just yet)
🖋Description – This class focuses on Mobility, Balance, Stretch & Flexibility, with a dash of Strength! Without these elements our body becomes stiff, tight and achy. So if you’d like that ‘WD40’ feeling, come and join this class.
☀Tuesday
🙋Trigger Point Pilates™
🕰6 – 7pm
🏫Dene Magna School, Mitcheldean
👟Equipment – Mat, *4” foam roller, 1pair stimulating prickle balls, soft pilates ball, 2m long light resistance band, hand towel to fold up
🖋Description – This combination of Pilates exercises with Myofascial Release (which is traditionally a hands-on therapy). Tight myofascia can interfere with the proper engagement of core muscles, so releasing them results in better proprioceptive awareness and posture.
*a 4 inch roller is important!
☀Tuesday

🏫Dene Magna School, Mitcheldean
👟Equipment – Mat, 2m long resistance band, hand towel to fold up, 1pair stimulating prickle balls
🖋Description – This class is perfect for beginners to exercise, for those who’ve taken a break from exercise and want to get back into it, for people who’ve noticed their mobility decreasing & wanting help to keep mobile, for those people who are pre or post surgery and for pre and postnatal, and for anyone who wants a great meaningful workout. This class is for you.
