A new menu menu section has been added to the website “Visiting”. The section currently includes links to the “Brief History of Bishopswood” page that was added last month, and a new page detailing “What to See & Do”. Over the coming months we will add more pages on where to stay and eat etc. Although the section is headed “Visiting”, much of the information is just as useful to residents as it is visitors.

Keep exploring the website as new information is being added regularly and is not always announced. If there is something you would like to see then please get in touch via the contact page.

The entrance to Bishopswood Village Hall has been brightened this week by the addition of an exhibition of paintings. All the beautiful artwork displayed has been created by members of the Goodrich Village Art Group. Next time you are at the hall take the time to browse and enjoy looking at it!

Our first Bishopswood Village Hall Community Lunch since the first lock down was held on Sunday 19th September.

Numbers were restricted to around fifty, including helpers to help maintain social distancing. Attendees at this pre-booking only event enjoyed a fabulous roast beef and Yorkshire pudding dinner, followed by a selection of delicious homemade desserts. We have received many compliments for the meal and careful planning.

Our thanks to the volunteers who set-up, prepared and served the wonderful meal. It was a first time for many.
