Indoor Street Party – join your friends for a traditional street party, only indoors.

All Saints Church invite you to the BIG CELEBRATION BREAKFAST – with Bucks Fizz. Followed by a short Thanksgiving service for the Queen.

A FAMILY AFTERNOON. Including Childrens (Royalty themed) fancy dress competition, Childrens picnic (supplied), Tea/coffee and cakes for adults, Treasure hunt, Crafts, Face Painting, Story corner …. and much more.

Eleven teams battled it out at the re-arranged quiz night at Bishopswood Village Hall. An enjoyable, social and educational evening was had by all resulting in a win for “The arachnids” (hope we’ve got that right?). It was great to see so many of the community back together enjoying themselves.

Especial thanks to Dr Roger Morgan our Quiz Master, Jackie Nicholson our scorer and of course the organisers.

The Disaster Emergency Committee, which comprises 15 UK and international charities, including Christian Aid, Cafod and The Red Cross are appealing for donations to help charities and their local partners in Ukraine and neighbouring countries provide food, water, shelter and medical assistance.

Not only are you able to gift aid donations, but at the moment the government is match funding donations to the DEC.

Almighty God we pray for the situation on the border of Ukraine.

We pray for those who live in fear, that you may grant them peace.

We pray that the voices for discernment and peaceful solutions may prosper.

Lord, we ask that you raise up peacemakers on all sides, that war and violence might be averted.

Give diplomats wisdom, understanding and build trust.

We ask for the church in the nations involved, may they be salt and light in a dark situation.

Lord we lift this dangerous situation to you. May your kingdom come, Amen.

Loving God, We pray for the people of Ukraine, for all those suffering or afraid, that you will be close to them and protect them.

We pray for world leaders, for compassion, strength and wisdom to guide their choices.

We pray for the world that in this moment of crisis, we may reach out in solidarity to our brothers and sisters in need.
