All Saints church was endowed in 1841 by John Partridge Esquire, the then owner of the Bishopswood Estate, and subsequently consecrated in 1845. Affectionately known locally as “The Church in the Woods” All Saints is hidden in the trees off the main B4234 in the trees up a small track. So much so that I’m sure many people in Bishopswood don’t know that it’s there.
