The Good the Bad & the Ceilidh are a new and lively local folk band from the South Herefordshire Wye Valley, comprising a line up of fiddles, flute, guitar, cello, trumpet, concertina and mandolin. These talented musicians are centred in and around the village of Goodrich and their inspiration is to bring audiences to the dance floor with irresistible foot-stomping tune sets! With traditional and contemporary Jigs, Reels, Polkas and Waltzes, their Caller will guide both complete novices and more experienced dancers through carefully selected arrangements of traditional dances; including square sets, long line, circle and simple partner dances.
So everyone get your toe-tapping dance shoes on, and get down to the party at Bishopswood village hall on Friday 22nd November, 5.30-9pm 🎉Please help spread the word for this new community event! We hope to make it a regular annual dance.

Around fifty members of the Bishopswood community (and beyond) got together on Sunday 22nd September to enjoy a fabulous traditional roast beef lunch followed by a selection of home made deserts provided by local volunteers at Bishopswood Village Hall.
Many thanks to the “Friends of Bishopswood Village Hall” volunteers who provided their support and the meal to make this regular quarterly event possible.
We are now taking bookings for our Christmas Community Lunch on Sunday 1st December. It’s always a popular event so reserve your place early by telephoning: 01600891277
